Stretching in daily life
I tell my clients that they should stretch every day, even if for only a few minutes. People who don’t stretch are stiff, tend to develop joint pain later in life, and aren’t able to move as well as flexible people. The reason for many headaches, back pains, and sore muscles is stiff muscles and lack of flexibility.

You will not only be more active when you are flexible but you will also benefit more from your workouts. Stretching increases your range of motion and blood flow to muscles which helps in your workouts and daily life. With better flexibility and a wider range of motion, you will be able to take your workouts to higher levels.
 

Add these stretches to your daily routine. Dont forget to incorporate deep breathing through your nose. You will be surprised how much your flexibility and energy level will increase.

 

For best flexibility results, warm up for 5 minutes before stretching (with a quick walk, march in place or bicycling, for example). Before your workout, hold each stretch 6-10 seconds. After your workout hold for 30 seconds.
