Another
Must Do - Plan your meals ahead of time.
Let me tell you, if I haven’t planned my meals and I don’t
eat my lunch, I will feel starved and eat way more than I
should. So many times we get busy and fail to plan, which in
turn will slow our weight loss. After working all day and
barely eating, it’s easy to grab something unhealthy on the
run.
On the other hand, my clients who plan their food
already know what they are eating for breakfast. They
already know what they are packing for their snacks and
lunch. Dinner is already planned, too. They don’t have to
say, “What’s for dinner tonight? I don’t feel like cooking.
Let’s go out to dinner.” Think about all the money and
calories you would save with a little bit of planning and
eating at home. Have you seen the movie Super Size Me? Those
are sad, cold, hard facts. I can only say again, knowledge
is power. Know what you are going to eat and know what the
food you are eating is made of.
TO
DO: Make a plan for your breakfast, lunch, dinner, and 2
snacks for 3-4 days. Next, make a grocery list from that
plan and make a trip to the store. Take an hour at home to
prepare your food and snacks. If everything is ready you
will eat it. I look forward to my healthy meals that I have
planned. Never go hungry again or set yourself up for poor
eating choices or overeating. Planning and preparation get
easier every time you do them. |
